Exploring Emotions: A Colourful Journey Through Feelings!
This week, our theme is “Emotions.” Children will embark on a vibrant journey into the world of feelings, learning to recognise, name, and express a range of emotions through storytelling, games, and creative activities. Using the much-loved book The Colour Monster as our guide, we will explore emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and calmness, associating each feeling with different colours. Through art projects, role-play, music, and sensory experiences, children will deepen their understanding of their own emotions and those of others.
Phonics sessions will reinforce letters such as M, D, and F, with engaging activities that support early literacy development linked to our theme.
